The Ford CII power steering pump has long been known to be an inferior pump that frequently fails prematurely. Our solution to this was to have our own steering pump housing made that takes tried and true Saginaw internals. So now there is a bolt in option for all CII applications. This pump comes with an 11/16" shaft for a press on pulley, OEM metric pressure fitting and an OEM style reservoir. The pressure is set to 1450PSI/2.75GPM for non hydro boost applications and 1500PSI/3.0GPM is you choose hydro boost which also will come with a reservoir that has two return nipples.
Fluid Recommendation
It is HIGHLY recommended to use our specialty formulated Lee Power Steering Fluid.
AC Delco or Valvoline non synthetic power steering fluid will work as a second choice but do not have the same Wear and Anti-Foaming additives our fluid has.
DO NOT USE ATF OR ANY TYPE OF SYNTHETIC FLUID.

I installed this in my 87 F250 running 35s and dana 60 front swap. Very high quality pump and make sure you follow their recommendations on fluid. The steering pump is quiet and responsive. Due to the pressure increase, I would recommend a goot quality power steering pressure line as well as using fuel injection rated clamps for the return to eliminate any leaks due to the increase in pressure. To yield any issues with part store power steering pressure lines, I recommend using their AN fitting and high pressure hose items and make your own line which is not hard. All in all its quiet and turns my 35s with ease even at idle. I have also paired mine with a BlueTop steering gear and no issues. Top notch product and top notch customer service. 100% would work with them again.

Installed this pump in my 1984 v6 Ranger. This is pump is great in that it does its job and you don't think about it. No constant whine, and uneven steering consistency. Having gone through many chain stores warranty pumps, I happily pulled the trigger on this. It installed exactly like oem, and flushed out the type F atf, and used their fluid. Pump operates silently and perfectly, as it should.
