Lee Rams are made from DOM tubing, threaded aluminum end caps, an aluminum piston and 55,000 psi chrome rod. Every part is completely made in house!
The rams are held to precise tolerances to greatly reduce the amount of internal bleed.
The main two features that sets our rams apart are the availability of ram lengths to fit your exact needs and the soft stops built into the piston design. Lee rams are the only rams to have a built in soft stop. When the ram gets to the last quarter inch of travel at either end the port orifice closes down to slow the travel of the ram. This protects the steering system from slamming against the end stops a greatly reduces wear and tear on the system. View our RAM installation instructions.
Our tie rod clamp uses a two ear, double shear design. This is much stronger than some of the single bolt tie rod clamps on the market. It also 3” wide and features a 6 bolt clamp system that is good for over 8000 lbs of clamping force.

TERRIFFIC !!! I ordered a power steering box for my `70 4x4 1 ton suburban with a 24 valve Cummins diesel engine because the Cardone rebuilt box was always wandering between high way lanes, and finnaly blew out the input shaft seal. 2 days after I placed the order they called to check on the input shaft spline count, he was really helpful. when I ordered the ram kit a week later he called to verify that I really needed a 9 inch stroke cylinder. no pressure , just really good customer service. I drove the suburban for 3 days with the new gear box and No ram. it made the sub fun to drive, NO WANDERING !! then I installed the ram kit and i was able to turn the steering wheel standing still in a parking lot. couldn`t do that before. VERY SATISFIED !!
